NAVAL CONSTRUCTION BRIGADE (NCBDE) By Lt. Marlon A. Roa For over three decades now the Naval Construction Brigade(NCBde) otherwise known as the SEABEES has consistently shown exemplary performance as a reliable engineering and construction arm of the Philippine navy. It has earned the distinct reputation of completing high impact projects in record time and sustained its outstanding level of performance. Through the years, the NCBde has proven to be an indispensable partner for the countrys growth and development. It is not only deeply involved but also truly committed to support the implementation of the development program of the government, including the protection and preservation of the countrys environment and marine resources. As the Navys engineering arm, the NCBde possess the same measure of dynamism, flexibility and versatility as it conduct naval combat engineering operations essential to support efforts to accomplish the Navy mission. In the performance of its multifarious vital tasks often located in remote, far -flung areas where civilian contractors and others do not dare to venue. the officers and men of the NCBde usually came through with excellence.
